It's soooo much…
You woke up today and tried to be optimistic, and then boom, the stress hit. You snapped at the kid or the dog, fumbled through breakfast, and were late to work. You like your work, but it’s also a struggle to accomplish tasks at times.
Or maybe you woke up with anxiety and your body couldn’t find calm, yet you did all the things. You were even on time for work and greeted coworkers along the way. But once you began the workday, the overwhelm erupts. You are stuck between being a perfectionist and wanting to quit on the spot. And this happens at home too.
Affirming care for self-discovery and change.
Hi, I’m Erin, and I help teens and adults who are tired from trying to do everything perfectly. I specialize in working with queer and LGBTQIA+ individuals and those who are neurodiverse (ADHD, Autism Spectrum).
I support clients in learning to let their guard down and discover what life can be like without anxiety controlling every thought and action. My clients experience meaningful changes during their time in therapy, not just in their anxiety but also in their relationships, careers, and self-perception.
What sessions are like.
I love to bring in research, theories, and resources to sessions, and there is often laughter, even as we work through the pain. I teach self-regulation, self-advocacy, and interpersonal skills. I often integrate body movement or meditation into our sessions, providing tools to help you find calm in your daily life.
So what’s next?
For almost 15 years, I have worked with people experiencing anxiety, worry, and panic attacks. My clients typically see me weekly to receive consistent support and move out of crisis mode. Therapy doesn’t have to feel scary and hard. It can feel like a relief, a breath of fresh air after you’ve been gasping for a long time.
If you are ready to move from disconnection, disembodiment, and anxiety to connection, grounding, and peace, message me today to get started.
